LHS Fine Arts Department showcases talents

The Lamar High School Fine Arts Department showcased their talents Saturday, April 27, at Night of the Arts. Dinner was prepared by FCCLA members and served by art students. Band, choir and theater students performed while guests enjoyed dinner. During intermission, guests were able to view the art show.

Nevaeh Lafleur, daughter of Jacob Fortner and Samantha Fortner, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Nevaeh loves art and music. Her favorite kind of art is oil pastels. She has a calf, lizard, two dogs and four ducks. Her favorite subjects are Science and Math.
