Quick and easy meals that will have your family asking for more
<< Back
(ARA) - Most families are busy these days juggling school and work schedules, chores and social events. But that doesn't mean your meals have to suffer. There are plenty of recipes you can make that are quick and easy, and will have all family members asking for more.

To keep your life simple, make sure you involve everyone in the cooking process, not only so that you have help getting dinner on the table, but also so you have a chance to spend valuable time together.

Have your children help you with simple steps like setting the table, washing fruits and vegetables, measuring ingredients, greasing pans and opening packages.

And while you're planning your meals for the week, consider purchasing a larger amount of ingredients that work in several different recipes - making your shopping trip easier. For example, if you're thinking about serving spaghetti Bolognese on Monday night, save the extra parmesan cheese for a delicious primavera on Tuesday night.

Having dips and appetizers handy for snacks also benefits busy families, especially if mealtime gets delayed due to traffic congestion or a school function. Put favorite ingredients like Velveeta and Philadelphia Cream Cheese on your grocery list, because they work so well in simple cheese dip recipes or easy appetizer recipes.

Here are a couple of recipes to get you started. And if you are looking for more quick and easy dinner recipes, visit recipes.kraftfoods.com for simple cheese dips, desserts, main courses and more.
