LINVILLE “LEE” HAGINS

JERICO SPRINGS- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Daniel Funeral Home for Lee Hagins, 77, Jerico Springs, who died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery in Jerico Springs.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two brothers, Milton Hagins and wife Beverly, Lamar and Lonnie Hagins and wife Patty, Cassville; a sister, Linda Hagins, Lamar and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Bryant Hagins, in 2013.

Mr. Hagins was born Dec. 13, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., to Linville Bryant and Mary Ethel (Robinson) Hagins. He was a 1960 graduate of Lockwood High School.

He worked at O’Sullivan Industries for 20 years and was also a cattle and crop farmer.

The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger At the April 15 meeting of the Lamar City Council, Lamar resident Rocky McCulloch invited councilmen and the city administrator to take a tour of the pool facilities on Thursday, April 18, as Mason Banes with KC Gunite was going to do a walk through to see what repairs might entail. Several showed up to view the pools, as well as to hear possible solutions. Banes explained that he had to first find out if the damage was structural or plumbing related. Elaine McCulloch noted that hopes are to retain the outdoor lap pool and to redo the indoor pool so that it could serve as a children’s pool following the removal of the enclosure. Banes is to let the McCullochs, as well as the city, know what he would recommend and the cost it would entail.
