OSCEOLA- A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler for Flando Leroy Harvey, 76, Osceola, who died Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schowengerdt Funeral Home, Butler.

Survivors include his sister, Elaine Edwards and husband Ernie, Lowry City; two nieces, Tonya Potter, Liberal and Tammy Edwards and significant other Steve Vincent, Belton; his girlfriend, Sylvia Meyers, Osceola; one great-nephew; two great-nieces and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Floyd Green.

Mr. Harley was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Jasper, to Flando and Mary (Gruver) Harley. He enjoyed eating, fishing and listening to older country music. He gave everyone a hard time and laughed often. He was baptized in his early years at the Osceola Baptist Church.
