GOODMAN- Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Racine Christian Church for Michael Ray Andrews, 62, Goodman, who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. Burial will follow in Waters Cemetery in Jasper.

The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar.

Survivors include his wife and parents; his son, Michael Andrews and wife Tiffany, Easton, Kan.; daughters Sarah Woodhouse and husband Nathan, Aurora, Neb., Kathy Knox and husband Derek, Fort Smith, Ark. and Kimberly Matthews and husband Richard, Aurora, Neb.; five grandchildren; sisters Debby Woodworth and husband Woody, Lamar and Ronda Ellis, Carthage; brothers Terry Quarles, Webb City and Rob McCulley, Carthage and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Andrews.

Mr. Andrews was born July 1, 1958, in Lamar, to Charles and Arlene (Reed) Andrews. He joined the Navy in 1976 and served on the Kitty Hawk as a boiler tech, receiving four letters of commendation. After military service he attended Crowder College, where he studied to be a diesel mechanic and continued his passion of fixing things.

He married Shari Dockhorn in 1981 and they had four children. They lived in Nebraska and Lamar until they divorced in 1998. He moved to Fort Smith, Ark. and managed a forklift company. He met and married his wife Norma and they resided in Arkansas and Missouri, finally settling in Goodman in 2013. Together they owned and operated NWA Ventures, collected trucks and tractors and traveled on their motorcycle across the USA. They currently own and operated The Tractor Barn in Goodman.

Mr. Andrews was passionate in his service for the Lord and his community.
