KEVIN D. “COACH” MCKENZIE
GREENFIELD- Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eudora Cemetery for Kevin D. “Coach” McKenzie, 60, Greenfield, who died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020, at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Arrangements were under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coach McKenzie Scholarship Fund and please make checks payable to DaCo Community Foundation Coach McKenzie Scholarship.

Survivors include his wife, Kim McKenzie, of the home; two daughters, Holli Robison and husband Ryan, Greenfield and Kayla Martin and husband Cole, Willard; one granddaughter, Addison Robison and two step-grandchildren, Paige Robison and Eric Faust and Shannon Robison and wife Jessica and their children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Dodson.
Mr. McKenzie was born July 27, 1960, in Springfield. He graduated from Marion C. Early High School in Morrisville and from Missouri State University in Springfield. He was united in marriage to Kimberly J. Slagle on June 20, 1980, in Eudora. He was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora and attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenfield.
Coach McKenzie had a successful teaching and coaching career for the Golden City High School, Humansville High School and the Greenfield High School. He also taught Driver’s Education, Hunter’s Safety Education and was a bus driver for the Greenfield schools. He enjoyed officiating football games and softball games. During summer vacation he owned and operated a lawnmowing service with his wife Kim. He was also employed by the Empire Ozark Fair for the past 15 years.
