Mr. Berry was born Oct. 5, 1957, in rural Dade County, to Evelyn Louise Berry. He was a lifelong Lockwood resident and loved his time at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. He was honored to serve as the president of the Resident Council at Good Shepherd and took great pride in this role. He enjoyed entertaining others, making crafts, singing karaoke, playing cards and dominoes with other residents and joking with the staff was a daily occurrence. He was an avid sports fan and could tell you everything there was to know about the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved his family fiercely and never missed an opportunity to tell others about them. He never met a stranger and could remember names of people he met years earlier. He could light up a room with his infectious smile and was kind to all he came into contact with. He had the ability to make everyone laugh and brought joy to all who knew him.
