GOLDEN CITY- A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, for Nancy Darlene (Ritter) McClain Schilling, 71, Golden City, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sorden and husband Donnie, Lockwood and Melissa Gulick, Lockwood; two sons, Terry McClain, Lockwood and Mike McClain, Lockwood; five grandchildren, Madison and Jesse Fretwell, Mt. Vernon, Kaylee and Will Clifton, Lockwood, Nick and Kayla Lara, Lockwood, Justin McClain, Hollister and Kolton Gulick, Golden City; 12 great-grandchildren, Sadie, Koda, Raylan, Lila, Eli, Gabe, Clara, Olivia, Penelope, Trinity, Brianna and Brookelyn and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike McClain; her husband, Clinton Schilling and two brothers, Charlie Ritter and Clem Ritter.

Mrs. Schilling was born on April 2, 1949, in Joplin, to Walter George and Francis Irene (Clouse) Ritter. She graduated from Neosho High School. She was united in marriage to Mike McClain and he preceded her in death. She married Clinton L. Schilling on August 19, 1983 in Carthage. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the P.T.A. and Women in Agriculture.
