BLUE SPRINGS- Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Blue Spring, 4500 Little Blue Parkway in Independence, for Dennie Ann Williams, 75, Blue Springs, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at the Parkway Senior Living Center in Blue Springs. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the church.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Memory Gardens of Lamar, 901 E. 19th St.

Arrangements are under the direction of Meyers Funeral Chapel.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks are to be worn during all services.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to First Baptist Church Blue Springs – Memo: Impact Ministries” or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Survivors include her husband, Earl L. Williams, of 56 years; their daughter, Amy Peña and husband Martín, Blue Springs; their son, Paul Williams, Richmond, Calif.; Heather Raser, co-parent and mother of their children and five grandchildren, Eliott, Nova, and Luna Williams, and Martín and Ava Peña.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Aileen Beeny and a brother, Gary Beeny.

Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 20, 1945, in Farragut, Idaho, to Lewis Gerald and Aileen Belle (Nutter) Beeny). She was always active in her church, leading various ministry areas including Vacation Bible School, Women’s Ministry and hosting Bible studies. She was a Weight Watchers leader for several years, where she loved and encouraged the individuals while making it interesting with her creativity.
