Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Student Robert Thomas, a member of the Special Olympics team that recently competed, is shown with teacher and Special Olympics coach Kristin Whitten. Whitten presented a slide show to the Lamar R-1 board at their April 15 meeting, while Thomas answered questions from the board.
