Tri-State Swim Conference returns to action

The Lamar TigerSharks hosted their home invitational on July 17-18. Twelve teams participated in this A/B competition, which was the third-largest swim meet of the season, including the Monett Waterthrashers, Nevada Neptunes, Joplin Stingrays, Webb City, Carthage Aquatic Team, Pittsburg YMCA, Branson Waves, Green Country Wahoos, Fort Scott Hurricanes, Parsons Dolphins and Siloam Springs Flyers. While the TigerSharks had 39 team members in attendance, several of their athletes competed in both the A & B divisions. The host team won the second place team trophy in the “B” division and finished sixth in the “A” division. The TigerSharks had several High Point trophy winners, including Meghan Watson, 15-18 Girls High Point winner (tie) for “A” division; Cameron Sturgell, 15-18 Boys High Point First Runner-up for “A” division; Zane Reavley, 15-18 Boys High Point winner for “B” division; Ryan Davis, 15-18 Boys High Point First Runner-up for “B” division; Kinslee Keatts, 15-18 Girls High Point winner for “B” division; Alix Davis, 13-14 Girls High Point winner for “B” division; Graham Davis, 8&Under Boys High Point winner for “B” division; Pryor Brown, 8&Under Boys High Point First Runner-up for “B” division and Elijah Morrison, 11-12 Boys High Point Second Runner-up for “B” Division and T.J. Born, 13-14 Boys High Point First Runner-up (tie) for “B” Division. The TigerSharks also recognized their four senior swimmers - Haily Born, Kaitlyn Davis, Zane Reavley and Meghan Watson.
