The Lamar TigerSharks had a fantastic showing with 14 swimmers hitting the pool at the Tri-State Conference “B” Swim Championships held in Monett on July 30 and 31. Led by High Point Trophy winners, Ryan Davis (15-18 Boys) and Koen Lilienkamp (13-14 Boys), the TigerSharks had 10 athletes score team points, with nine team members punching their ticket to individual finals and five event champions. Full results will be published in the next edition of the Lamar Democrat.
TigerSharks have good showing at Monett
The TigerSharks wrapped up the regular summer season at the Joplin Swim Invitational at Schifferdecker Family Aquatic Center on July 23 and 24. Alix Davis led the Lamar squad in team points and took runner-up honors in the 13-14 Girls High Point Trophy competition. The TigerSharks will next complete at TriState Conference Swim Championships in Monett over the next two weekends.
