LAMAR- A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Daniel Funeral Home for Frank Lee Bell, 84, Lamar, who died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon.

The family will receive friends after the service until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to Lamar T.A.T.S., in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his son, Tye Bell, Boyd, Texas; a son-in-law, John Richey, Greenfield, Texas; two grandchildren, Mason Bell and Tanner Bell, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Lois Ainsworth, Oklahoma City, Okla. and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Melinda Richey and five brothers, Carl Whayne Bell, Earl Blain Bell, Paul Ray Bell, James Keith Bell and Robert Eugene Bell.

He had five ex-wives and he was still in love with one of them at his passing.

Mr. Bell was born June 16, 1937, in Barton County, to Carl Wilson and Ethel Lucile (Ricketts) Bell. After graduating from Liberal High School with the class of 1956 he served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961, serving a tour in Korea. He had many jobs, but the last one he retired from in 2005 was driving a truck for CFI.

He was a proud member of the Shriners, Elks Lodge, Metro, Masonic Lodge and Romeos.
