DELETA “DEE” CAYLOR

EFFINGHAM, Kan.-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Becker Chapel in Effingham for Deleta D. “Dee” Caylor, 76, Paradise Lake, Effingham, who died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Mosaic Life Center in St. Joseph. Rev. Jeff Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Lancaster.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Becker Chapel in Effingham.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Bill Caylor and wife Sissie, Everest; a daughter, Cindy Jones and husband Thomas, Leavenworth; seven grandchildren, Brian Caylor and wife Sara, Brandon Caylor and wife Ashley, Adam Caylor and wife Kei, Ben Dodge, Rusty Sullivan and Denise and Tabetha Jones; six great-grandchildren, Lola, Elijah, Amaya, Zoey, Abby and Tyler; a sister, Earlene Rawlings, Lamar, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special niece, Janice Dunlap, Spartanburg, S.C. and a sister-in-law, Betty Caylor, Parsons.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Leahman and Joyce Cook.

Mrs. Caylor was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Lockwood, Mo., to Earl and Allene (Lockmiller) Robertson. She attended schools in Lamar, Mo. She had worked at Atchison Leather Products, she and her husband owned and operated the former Ellie's Deli in Atchison for several years and they managed the Best Western Model in Atchison for 12 years. She was a member of Effingham Union Church and enjoyed making ceramics, reading, gardening and raising flowers, baking and candy making. She especially enjoyed her family and grandchildren.

She married William G. Caylor on June 28, 1953, in Lamar, Mo. He died June 24, 2015.
