IRWIN-Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home for Randy Ray Brundige, 56, Irwin, who died unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2016, in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Howell Cemetery, near Milford.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Barton County Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his fiance, Becky Arehart; a son, James Beaumont and wife Chelsea, Webb City; two daughters, Trish Taylor and husband Jessie, Nevada, Mo. and Mythia Beaumont, Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, Airiana, Ethyn, Sorilea, Chase, Gage “Boogie”, Trent, Jessie, Jett and Clay and a brother, Joe Brundige and wife Kathy, Lamar.

He married Nancy Beaumont on Oct. 4, 2009, at Lamar. She died Jan. 15, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

Mr. Brundige was born Dec. 6, 1959, at St. Joseph, to Wesley and Mila (Cannon) Brundige. After moving with his family to Barton County, he graduated from Lamar High School and then served in the U.S. Army. As an over-the-road trucker for 38 years, he drove countless miles, all across the country, collecting friends wherever he traveled. He never met a stranger, could talk to just about anyone, about anything, and relished a great story or practical joke among family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a talented woodworker who built furniture for family and friends. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lamar.
