Mycah Reed won the 13-14 Girls High Point Trophy at the Webb City Tri-State Invitational, which was held at the Buck Miner Swim Center at Webb City High School on June 18-19. Reed is pictured with Lamar TigerSharks Head Coach, Tyler Kupersmith.

The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower. Pictured are, left to right, Lamar Bank & Trust President Pat O’Neal, Barco Drive-In Theatre fundraiser director Landin Myers and representing the Plaza/Barco and Lamar Community Betterment, Scott Kelley.
