MARGO MOORE

LAMAR-Services will be held in Florida for Margo Moore, 80, Lamar, who died Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Truman Healthcare Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Truman Healthcare Center, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Mark Hunt, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one daughter, Tami McKay, Seminole, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a niece, Tresa Moore, Lamar.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hunt, in 1998.

Mrs. Moore was born July 22, 1936, in East Lake, Texas to Talmadge E. and Alyce A (Cowan) Moore. She was a high school graduate, had attended college and earned an associate degree. While living in Florida, her career in retail sales included work as a mobile home sales representative and a Walmart associate. She was a long-time member of the Retail Clerks Union and was of the Baptist faith. She moved to the Barton County area four years ago to help take care of her sister-in-law, Mary Moore.
