Democrat/Richard Cooper David R. Munton, right, took the oath of office, December 14, as the new circuit judge of Missouri’s 28th Judicial Circuit. The former associate circuit judge of Dade County succeeds James R. Bickel, who reached the mandatory retirement age of 70 on July 24. The oath was administered by Lamar Municipal Judge James V. Nichols. The 28th Circuit is composed of the counties of Vernon, Cedar, Dade, and Barton.
