CatTracks honor Coach Burr

On October 23, 2016, Coach Lyman Burr was presented with a special trophy, honoring his many years of service to the CatTracks swim team and the Fair Acres YMCA in Carthage. Coach Burr was recognized as the founder and head coach of the CatTracks swim team, which is beginning its 11th season of competition. Under Burr’s leadership, the size of the team has grown significantly over the years, drawing swimmers throughout southwest Missouri, including Carthage, Joplin, Carl Junction, Webb City, Diamond, Lamar and Liberal. CatTracks is the three-time defending champion of the Heartland West Regional Championship and the team placed third overall in the Small Team Division at Heartland AREA Championships last spring.
