Kara Morey, daughter of Kent and Melissa Morey, is the eighth grade Student of the Week at Lamar Middle School. Kara enjoys playing basketball, running cross country and track and dancing. She has a huge love for Jesus Christ and also loves to ride horses and play the trumpet.

She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.
