Lamar Rotary holds Annual Rural/Urban Luncheon

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Rob Kallenbach, director of agriculture for Missouri Extension, spoke at the Lamar Rotary Club's Annual Rural/Urban Luncheon, held at 12 noon on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Lamar First United Methodist Church. Kallenbach thanked all local farmers, as well as giving statistics concerning agriculture in Barton County. Following the Pledge of Alliance, followed by prayer from Mike Gage, a catered dinner from Chicken Annie's was served to those attending.
