Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders presented a check to the Barton County Health Department (BCHD) in the amount of $300, to be used for Children Wellness programs in local schools and communities. BCHD Director Joel Dermott (middle) accepted the check from 4-H Teen Leader Vice President Kelsie Morgan, left, and 4-H Teen Leader Treasurer Matthew Morgan, right. These funds were raised at the 2017 5K Run/Walk 4 Health, held March 17, in the Lamar City Park. Thanks are extended to Missouri Community Betterment, YCLS and the Missouri Beef Industry, as well as all local donors in the community, for supporting the youth in this event.
