Rakestraw to celebrate 90th birthday with open house

Fred Rakestraw will be celebrating his 90th birthday on Saturday, July 15, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the First Christian Church in Lamar. Fred was born July 19, 1927. All are invited to help him celebrate.

The monument will recognize veterans that made a significant difference while serving in the armed services.
