JERRY NOYES

RURAL LIBERAL- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Jerry Ray Noyes, 60, rural Liberal, who died Friday, July 14, 2017, at Truman Healthcare Center in Lamar. Burial will be in Barton City Cemetery, north of Liberal.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jane Noyes, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Brianne Noyes, Liberal; two brothers, David Noyes, Pittsburg, Kan. and Chris Noyes and wife Tammy, Cleveland, Mo.; a sister, Linda Doty and husband Tim, Columbus, Ohio and the light of his life, a grandson, Spencer Ray Noyes. He was also looking forward to welcoming another grandchild to the family in January.

Mr. Noyes was born March 6, 1957, at Pittsburg, Kan., to James and Luella (Bunton) Noyes. He was a 1975 graduate of Liberal High School. He married Jane Joines on June 23, 1978 in Jasper, and they made their home and reared their son, Kyle, and farmed in Barton County. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards and the fellowship of Lamar bowling leagues.
