LHS Class of 1962 celebrates 55th reunion

The Lamar High School graduating class of 1962 celebrated its 55th class reunion with an evening of visiting and reminiscing at the East Clubhouse on October 13. The celebration continued on Saturday evening, Oct. 14, at the Lamar Country Club, with a banquet catered by Dawn Norwood. Those in attendance were, back row, left to right, Gordon Talley, Roger Leivan, Bruce Belline, Roy Rice, Jarold Clements, James Harrison, Carl Phipps, Perry Caldwell; third row, Marilyn Main Moore, Boyd Lighthill, Don Lucietta, Wally Norton, Lois Lawless Stockdale, Earl Williams; second row, James McDonald, Ken Williams, Peggy Reed Cook, Dorris Metsinger Westbay, Susan Lisle Hobbs; first row, Tom Holcomb and Sue Whitchurch Combs.
