Mr. Sinnett was born July 26, 1946, in Slater, to Forrest and Allie (Perkins) Sinnett. His childhood was spent in Marshall and he was reared by his mother and stepfather, Lester Cleveland.

In 1966 he married Judy Nichols and they had three children, later divorcing. On June 5, 2000, he married Tamara Hoover at Miami, Okla. and she preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 2003.

A skilled auto mechanic, he had worked for several auto repair shops and was known to be generous with his time and talent for family and friends in need of car or motorcycle repair. He retired from the City of Lamar after working in the water plant for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. His home was a gathering place and he relished the fellowship of friends willing to challenge him in Snooker. He liked nothing better than an opportunity to tell someone how proud he was of his kids and how special each and every grandchild was to him.
