JUDY COMBS

LAMAR- A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Living Word Church for Judy Carol Combs, 62, Lamar, who died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Freeman Hospital West, following a long illness. Pastor Mark Cummins will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Contributions are suggested to Judy Combs family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, John Deaton, Austin, Ind. and Ricky “Daryl” Abbott, Arcadia, Fla.; two daughters, Lisa Guthrie and Crystal Vires, both of Lamar; brothers, Robert Vanover and wife Burdette, Crothersville, Ind., Roger Morgan and wife Helen, Austin, Ind. and Virgil Vanover and wife Brenda, Isom, Ky.; sisters, Pamela Faye Reickers and husband Steve, Dudleytown, Ind., Barbara Ann Tarter, Seymour, Ind. and Patsy Parker and husband Dwight, Blue Springs and grandchildren, Darin, Brianna, Benjamin, Nate, Taylor, Karolina, Andrew, Victoria, Alexia and Gavin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Danny Ray Vanover and a sister, Linda Boyd.

Mrs. Combs was born June 22, 1955, in Hindman, Ky., to Robert and Idella (Morgan) Vanover. She had worked as a waitress and bartender for many years until becoming disabled. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
