Lamar Tigers win semifinal; lose in district play

Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Lamar's J.D. Bishop scores during the semifinal win over Seneca Friday. The Tigers advanced to the Class 3 District 12 title game, but fell to Mount Vernon Saturday night. The loss ended another terrific season for Tyler Ryerson's team. Look for a recap of the tournament and the entire season in an upcoming issue of the Democrat.
