Bulldogs fall to Sacred Heart

The Liberal Bulldogs bowed out of the Class 2 playoffs Wednesday with a loss to Sacred Heart. The district title was the Bulldogs first in 17 years. Here Jacob Dermott puts up a shot over Sacred Heart's Colby Young.

The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower.
