CARA HOWARD-BARNEY

JASPER- A memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, for Cara Howard-Barney, 54, Jasper, who died unexpectedly at her home on March 1, 2018. The family will hold a private inurnment at a later date.

Survivors include her husband, Blaine; her father, William “Willie” Howard; four brothers, Jeff Howard and Greg Howard and wife Rita, all of Jasper, Brad Howard and wife Terri, Webb City and David Howard and wife Becky, Carterville and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Sue Howard.

Mrs. Howard-Barney was born Oct. 6, 1963, in Carthage. She was a lifelong area resident and had formerly worked at Schreiber Foods. Her favorite job was taking care of her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Purcell Baptist Church and the Webb City Elks Lodge. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.
