CARTHAGE- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ulmer Funeral Home for Linda J. Rush, 69, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at her home in Carthage. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include one son, Dusty Rush, Neosho; two daughters, Ronda Freeland and husband Allen, Carthage and Lynnette Watson and husband Alan, Lamar; one brother, Randy Lee and wife Carol, Carthage; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carla Lee and Pamela Lassiter.

Mrs. Rush was born Sept. 11, 1948, in Carthage, to Paul C. and Yvonne (Sanders) Lee. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage and worked at Walmart in the fabric department for over 30 years with her Walmart family.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Praying Hands – Order of the Amaranth Court and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved sewing, quilting and crossword puzzles.

She married Thomas Rush on Feb. 9, 1965, in Carthage. He died Sept. 5, 2017.
