Lamar Middle School bands receive “1” ratings

Lamar Middle School performed at the PSU Mid-America Music Festival in Pittsburg, Kan., on April 21. Both the seventh and eighth grade bands received “1” ratings. The Tigers also brought 28 ensembles and solos to the music festival, resulting in 21 “1” ratings and seven “2” ratings. Both LMS bands also earned “1” ratings at the NEO Music Festival in Miami, Okla., on April 3.

Drone photo by Joe Davis Rawlings Crane & Fabrication has been busy installing the new screen at the Barco Drive-In. This photo from Thursday morning shows both wings in place. The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.
