SHELDON- Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Sheldon Cemetery for Linda K. Hale, 69, Sheldon, who died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at her home in Sheldon, following a lengthy illness. Pastor Roger Beach will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the Sheldon Cemetery Association, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Dakota Hale, Oronogo; two grandchildren, Kyra Hale and Koby Hale; her mother, Joan Antle, Nevada and one brother, Charles Cass, Cape Fair.

In addition to her husband Larry, she was also preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Hale was born Jan. 18, 1949, in Richmond, Calif., to Lewis Sanford and Joan Louise (Cochran) Cass. She married Larry J. Hale on Aug. 4, 1966, in Lamar. He died Oct. 24, 2015.

Although born in California, she came to Sheldon at a young age with her family. Her family also lived in Lawson for a time and she was a 1967 graduate of Springfield Glendale High. Following high school she attended SMSU and graduated in 1971 with a degree in business. She worked alongside her husband in the real estate business for over 40 years and in addition to that, they also farmed and raised cattle all of their lives.

She was a member of Sheldon Christian Church, Missouri Cattleman’s Association, Republican Inner Circle and the National Association of Realtors.
