Yard Dawgs win Sandlot tournament

The Yard Dawgs won the 13&Under Division at the Sandlot tournament, held Saturday, May 5, in Miller. The road to the championship included victories over MO Elite, 8-1; Miller Cardinals, 9-1 and North Arkansas Cowboys, 14-4. Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.
