TigerSharks kick off summer swim season

The Lamar TigerSharks won the third place team trophy at the 2018 Nevada Neptunes Invitational, which was held on June 2 and 3, at the Walton Aquatic Center in Nevada. The team accumulated a total of 384.5 points during the weekend competition, facing 11 other teams from the Tri-State Conference. The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Gunner Miller, son of Sharron Miller, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Gunner plays baseball and likes playing video games in his spare time. His favorite subject is Math.

The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.
