LOCKWOOD- A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel for James Walter Martin II, 58, Lockwood, who died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at his home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Martin; two sons, Sam Berry and wife Tonya and Terry McKinney; two sisters, Lisa Jackson and Rachel Martin; one brother, Dwayne Martin; his stepmother, Donna Martin; a special aunt, Bonnie Kelley; two grandchildren, Tucker Berry and Brittany Berry; two great-grandchildren, Delilah Berry and Asher Price and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Robin Allcorn, Pamela Martin and Jessica Lee.

Mr. Martin was born April 29, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., to James Franklin and Emma Faye (Burch) Martin. He was united in marriage to Linda Darlene Berry on March 11, 1978, in Greenfield. He served his country in the Missouri National Guard. He worked as an electric lineman for the City of Lamar for 21 years and recently for the City of Lockwood. He also was a fireman for the Lamar Fire Department and the Lockwood Fire Department.

Mr. Martin was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time with his grandkids.
