Barton County Chamber celebrates 100th anniversary

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The Barton County Chamber of Commerce held an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate their 100th anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at their new office, located at 110 W. 10th St., on the north side of the Lamar square. The open house, complete with a tour of the beautiful facility and the serving of delicious refreshments, took place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a ribbon cutting held at 12 noon, in front of the building. A special guest of the day was Tammy Long, director of the Missouri Chamber Federation.
