CARTHAGE- Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Paradise Cemetery for Raymond Richard Ott, 68, Carthage, who died Thursday, March 7, 2019, at his home.

Arrangements were under the direction of Weng Funeral Home, Jasper.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home; four sons, Russell Ott and wife Jeanne, Adam Endicott, Frank Endicott and Paul Gillam and wife Amanda; two daughters, Regina Dawn Shank and Lavon Clark and husband Will; one sister, Sara Payne; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ryan James Ott and two grandchildren.

Mr. Ott was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Carthage, to Raymond Lee and Louise (Straw) Ott. He was a retired truck driving, having worked for D&D Sexton. He was a 1968 graduate of Alba High School and was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Carthage.
