LAMAR- Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lake Cemetery for Dolores Marie Blaser, 89, Lamar, who died Monday, March 11, 2019, at her home. A memorial visitation and luncheon with the family will be held at 12 noon, at the Iantha United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Contributions are suggested to the Rachel Blaser Scholarship Fund or Hospice Compassus, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Roger Blaser and wife Ann, Lamar; three daughters, Candy Fields and husband Dan, Batavia, Ill., Rita Wolf and husband Bruce, Liberal and Sheila Temple and husband Rick, Springfield; two sisters, Patricia Mosher, Gillette, Wyo. and Eva Belle Krening, Fort Morgan, Colo.; 16 grandchildren, Brent, Mark, Jennifer, Jessica, Jackie, Julie, Max, Andy, Addie, Adam, Weston, Kyler, Konnor, Whitney, Malia and Madison and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Blaser; a son, Randy “Brillo” Blaser and a granddaughter, Rachel Blaser.

Mrs. Blaser was born June 22, 1929, in Kirk, Colo., to Daniel E. and Mary C. (Finley) Turvey. She was a 1947 graduate of Eckley Colorado High School. She married Werner Dean Blaser on April 10, 1949, in Julesburg, Colo. and together they reared five children.

Mrs. Blaser was the manager of CPWSD until her retirement after 25 years of service. She had also worked at O’Sullivan Industries, as well as a secretary at the University of Missouri Extension Office.
