JERICO SPRINGS-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kan., for Peggy Lou Swink, 49, Jerico Springs, who died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at her home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Swink, of the home; four daughters, Amber Wagstaff and husband Lawrence, Jerico Springs, Letitia Swink, Lamar, Jasmine Swink, Parsons, Kan. and Megan Swink, Golden City; a son, Jeffrey Dillon Swink, Lamar; her mother, June Crowley, Jerico Springs; a brother, Richard Crowley, Jerico Springs; a sister, Melissa Ponte, Nevada, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Riley, Trayven, Brooklynn, Tryeek Braxton, Martavious, Kyle Mae and Paisaley, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Crowley; a sister-in-law, Melissa Jackson; a brother-in-law, Michael Speer; an aunt, Dorothy Logan and cousins, Ida Mae Thompson, Debbie Joles and Tabbie Joles.

Mrs. Swink was born May 4, 1966, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Ray and June (Forester) Crowley. She was a 1984 graduate of Nevada High School. She was baptized in the Richards Christian Church. She enjoyed tending her chickens and fishing and her life revolved around her children and grandchildren.

She married Jeff Swink on Dec. 21, 1990, in Fort Scott, Kan.
