CatTracks enjoy success at Heartland AREA swim championships

The CatTracks swim team participated in the Heartland AREA West Regional Swim Championships in Monett, from March 1-3. CatTracks finished first in the girls division and second in the boys division, bringing home the Second Place Team Trophy in overall team competition. Local swimmers Meghan Watson and Kaitlyn Davis finished 1-2 in the 15-21 Girls High Point Awards. Other area athletes also enjoyed success, earning Best Times, medaling in their events and scoring valuable team points, including Haily Born, Alix Davis, Ryan Davis, Zander Davis, Aidan Reed, Mycah Beth Reed and Emma Tennal. Davis, Reed, Watson and Emily Willis swept all four relays, setting new Regional Records in the 200 yard freestyle relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay, as well as a new pool record in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
