LAMAR- Services are pending with Konantz Warden Funeral Home for William “Bill” Curtis Woods, 80, Lamar, who died Friday, April 12, 2019.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Woods, of the home; a daughter, Cindy Woods, Blue Springs; grandsons, Christopher Mitchell and Sammy Mitchell; a great-grandson, Damian Mitchell; brothers, Johnny Woods and Richard Woods, California and sisters, Louise Stevenson and Joyce Costa, California.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Woods and a sister, Pauline Robertson.

Mr. Woods was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Visalia, Calif., to Blake and Kate Read (Gilbert) Woods. He was a farmer and truck driver. He served in the United States Air Force and was an airplane mechanic, as well as driving a truck and a tug.

He was a graduate of Mt. Whitney High School in California.

He married Peggy Sue Morris on March 26, 1961, in Visalia, Calif.
