Elizabeth Renfro, daughter of Nick and Carrie Renfro and Jenifer Hope, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Elizabeth likes to play basketball and enjoys riding bikes with her brothers and sisters. She has two dogs named Ren and Rogue. Her favorite subject in school is Science.

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower. Pictured are, left to right, Lamar Bank & Trust President Pat O’Neal, Barco Drive-In Theatre fundraiser director Landin Myers and representing the Plaza/Barco and Lamar Community Betterment, Scott Kelley.
