Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Liberal senior Garrett Peterson finds a lane to the end zone and races past Chilhowee defenders on his way to pay dirt during a 54-32 win Friday night. The victory improves the Bulldogs to 2-2 on the season. Also pictured is senior Colten Slinker. The Bulldogs will host Rich Hill on Friday for homecoming.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower.
