Sophomore linebacker No. 45 Khiler Nance brings down the Cougar quarterback for short yardage in the Tigers 33-27 Class 2 State Championship football game loss. The Cougars had 197 yards passing and the Tigers had 160 yards before losing 30 yards with several laterals on the final play of the game. The Tigers finished with 401 total yards to the Cougars 267 yards. Tigers battle in state championship game

No. 17 Trace Willhite dips inside to help set up the block by No. 60 Ryan Davis in Class 2 district football action. The Tigers received a bye in the first round and advanced to play East Newton. The Tigers had defeated the Patriots two weeks earlier by a score of 48-0 in the final game of the regular season. This game was more of the same as the Tigers won 48-6. Tigers keep rolling

The All-Big 8 West football team was recently voted on and selected by the coaches of the Big 8 conference. The Lamar Tigers dominated the award selections on both offense and defense.
