HEPLER, Kan.- A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kneeland Center in Liberal for Julia Loretta Malone, 65, Hepler, who died Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include four daughters, Tamara Lathrom, of the home, Symantha Kene and husband David, McPherson, Angel West, Redfield and Elizabeth Reily and husband Mike, St. Louis; two sons, David Malone and wife Julie and John Malone and wife Kelly, all of Kansas City, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lyle Wiggans and wife Jerre, Kansas City, Mo., Tommy Wiggans, Ft. Scott and Donnie Wiggans, Nevada, Mo.; one sister, Carolyn Arbogast, Pittsburg and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Polly Watkins.

Mrs. Malone was born March 18, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., to Ralph and Mabel Wiggans. She married Timothy Malone on Dec. 16, 1988. She lived many years in Farlington before moving to Hepler. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, watching Madea and playing cards with her loved ones. It did not matter what she had going on, if someone needed her, she was always right there to help.
