On Wednesday, Nov. 6, 21 students from Lamar Career & Technical Center's Personal Finance classes and FBLA traveled to Kansas City with their new teacher, Darrelle Hill. They toured the Federal Reserve Bank and learned about the functions of the Federal Reserve system and America's financial systems. The students went to The Money Museum that is located there, saw the Harry S. Truman Coin Collection and had an opportunity to lift a real gold bar. The last part of the trip was visiting Crown and Hallmark's Visitors Centers.
