St. Mary’s Catholic Church observed its 150th anniversary on Saturday evening, Dec. 14, at the church in Lamar. Bishop Rice from Springfield, along with other priests, had mass, following with a dinner in the hall. During the ceremony the bishop blessed strained glass windows for the church that had recently been installed. More windows will be coming in the future.
