Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow High school seniors across the country missed out on many meaningful end-of-the-school-year activities. One pinnacle moment that wasn't missed at Jasper High School was graduation. The Class of 2020 held its commencement exercises in the high school gymnasium Sunday, June 28. Here Annika Anzjon (from left), Abigail Dumm, Kristopher Bruce and Hunter Hinds perform an inspiring performance of the Star Spangled Banner at the top of the ceremony.

Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
