DENNIS E. MILLER

GOLDEN CITY- A visitation was held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, followed by a memorial service at the Golden City Mennonite Church in Newport for Dennis E. Miller, 71, who died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, at his residence, from congestive heart failure.

Arrangements were under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; four brothers; three sisters and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by seven children, Tom Miller and wife Dena, Ron Miller and wife Lacey, Ruby Miller and husband Timothy, Tim Miller and wife Marie, Amos Miller and wife Elise, Aaron Miller and Kaleb Miller and wife Beverly and 20 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

Mr. Miller was born Oct. 12, 1948, in Apple Creek, Ohio, to Elmer and Delila Miller. He received Christ and was baptized into the Mennonite church in his youth. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Troyer of Goshen, Ind., on October 23, 1971. He was ordained to the ministry in 1974, where he served faithfully until his death.

He was a faithful husband, loving father, adored “dawdy” and a steadfast example to all.
